Today is the last day of october! and that means that today is Halloween!
Lately have seen many people in Halloween costumes or with their faces painted like decorated skulls, that is a custom in Mexico since tomorrow November 1st and 2nd in Mexico they also celebrate the people who has also left this world. It is called in Mexico “Dia de muertos” If I remember correctly november 1st is the day for the children and the 2nd for the grown people, They make a arregement in a table with lots of food, sweets, flowers, candles and the photos of those who they are remembering this is called Ofrenda, also in the schools are used to make some festivals and the students dance with catrina costumes and so of course I am talking only about what I remember of my student days lol ^ ^;; but it was really fun to make the ofrendas with all my friends so the parents could come to the school and see them
In Mexico there is the tradition to make a small one in home but also many do big ones in the schools, parks and so and have some competition to see who can make the most gorgeous ofrenda, they can
be themed in many things, since Mexico is so big the different states are used to make different types of ofrendas, if you have the time try to visit mexico in this days! Don’t miss the traditional pan de muerto! is really delicious! yummy (going to buy some kkk >:D)
Hope you are having a nice and spooky week!
See you next time 😀 cciao ~
